Album Notes

"Excellent stuff...highly recommended to people that find flashy guitar tricks and music like a more progressive 'Extreme' to be exciting" - Urban "Wally" Wallstrom (RockUnited.com)

"A welcome blast from the past - yet, it's all new. 24UNITY make no apologies for their influences, and that's part of their appeal...damned good music...These guys have a bright future and I hope that a peaceful invasion of my country is in the works soon." - Mark Staudte (gigs-unlimited.co.uk)

Lifeshines is one of the greatest rock records of all time !

5 stars is cheap for this one. Had Journey or Van Halen recorded this disc in their heyday, it might've been their best selling album. Total mass appeal, every song is excellent with at least half being monster hit singles. Rock, pop, prog, metal & guitar heroism all in one. Ladies love it, yet there's enough grit & chops to engage even jaded listeners such as musicians. Every guy in this band can truly play, and lays it down here. Recording quality is flawless. As I said, just like classic bands such as Journey, Van Halen or G'n'R were able to straddle all of those genres without pandering to anyone or sounding like anyone else, 24unity also manages it. Vocals are of the higher-pitched soaring variety, such as Van Hagar, Fates Warning or Rush. Subject matter is generally life-affirming and positive, which is refreshing for hard rock. It's not catchy like the kind of album you love for a month then tire of, this one has longevity. It's truly a classic album, and fans of the above-mentioned bands, or of melodic/proggy/catchy hard rock/metal in general are living diminshed lives without this album.
