Album Notes

What would you get if Slayer, Pantera and the Deftones were to meet in a dark alley?

No, not a bloodfest streetfight but probably something that would sound like the Hard Hitting band 26 Miles Per Hour as proven in their latest release Apathy.

This is an excellent album, they do a great job of mixing rap, metal, punk, and hardcore. They have some phat ass bass lines, along with some hard riffs which goes great together. There is not a dull moment all throughout this album, at least I have yet to find one. My favorite songs on Apathy are Rise Up, Torn Again, Ejected, the Tribe, and See It In Your Face. I haven't had the chance to see 26 Miles Per Hour in concert yet, but I'm sure the time will come very soon. I like every song on this album, yet I don't like punk, that just goes to show that they sure know what they're doing. The best songs on this album are the ones where it is melodic yet heavy at other times, with a touch of punk to make it just perfect. The music of 26 Miles Per Hour is so aggressive, out of nowhere Eric will just start screaming, followed by a bass line and riff that's fits in perfect, then the drums are exactly on beat with all the other instruments. It's pretty hard to play the guitar and sing at the same time, and get it so perfect, I'd have to say Eric does a great job at it. With Tono on Drums, John on Bass, and Eric doing vocals and Guitar I don't see how anyone that likes this type of music can't love 26 Miles Per Hour. I recommend that any fans of metal, rapcore, punk, or hardcore to purchase this album as soon as possible. You can hear some samples at www.cdbaby.com where you can also buy the album if you like it please feel free to do so.
