ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome To Tha South was officially my first release. I worked on this album from 1993 through 1999. I started it in high school and finished it in college. Because I was working with so many different artists from high school and college, I decided just to do a compilation album that would feature all of my work. The album has everything from R&B, Rap, to Bass Music. I even have Bubba Sparxxx on this album doing Bass Music. (This was recorded before he even changed his name to Bubba Sparxxx, back then he was under the group name 1 Card Shi) The Album sold well in Augusta and Atlanta. I did make my money back. But dealing with so many artists was a headache. Everybody thinking I made all the money although no one was playing for studio time or production. At least I broke even. I had a lot of great songs on this album. We use to get into the strip clubs all the time off of “Working Girl”. People still come up to me today talking about this album…Music is so amazing!!!
