Album Notes

This CD is just an introduction and a taste of what is to come in the near future. 2 Da Face consists of Kalioso and Untame--two hungry artists originally from Oakland, CA who happen to be brothers that have been on the underground for the last couple of years. They have been working constantly with other artists such as Hugsta and Smitty composing the group "6th Sense". That album was released in 2003 and is currently in stores. They currently have second album that is in stores called "Facialz". It is being sold at Tower Records, Dimple Records, and Sam Goody. 2 Da Face brings the reality of life in every sense of the word. Each song has that raw street flavor mixed with hard lyrics and knockin' beats. Kalioso, the older of the two, brings a more straight forward, clear and gripping message with in-depth stories in his rhymes. Untame brings that rough, high tempo flow with tongue twisting lyrics. They both have a huge imagination to create a very likeable sound. These two rappers feed off of each other and create a chemistry any music lover would enjoy. The music is fun to listen to and puts you in an upbeat mood. The beats are original and can be played in a club or on the street and catch anybody's ear.
