THE 2 HUNGRY BROS have helped make the AOK COLLECTIVE the number 1 crew in NEW YORK CITY's INDEPENDENT SCENE
DEEP AND BEN BOOGIE were resident DJs at New York City’s legendary NUYORICAN POETRY CLUB. They have traveled around the states with Artists LIFE LONG & FRESH DAILY. They are two producers raised in the L.E.S. (pre-gentrified) who call themselves the 2 Hungry Bros. They’ve been friends since the 1st grade. They’ve produced break through hits for artists Lodeck, Many Styles, Shorty Black, LIFE LONG, & Fresh Daily. Their 1st ever full length album. Frequent Flyers is a wonderful compilation of local artists from the Lower East Side and NYC’s Underground Hip Hop Scene over banging beats. They have been lauded by Chicago’s Molemen and RhymeSayer’s Kevin Beacham.
You can hear their Music played on the Radio Ruckus show at Rutgers. They are also in rotation at 89.9 FM NYC WKCR at the SQUEEZE Radio Show. They are also in rotation at Crack Distributors Radio show on WPUB. They have also premiered their music on WKDU in Philly as well.

Mentored by studio engineer and producer, Fred Ones (Rob Sonic, Creature etc.) One half of the production team 2 Hungry Brothers along side partner and crime Ben Boogz, co-founder of the underated Johnny 23 crew and member of the Creative Juices crew, another branch on the family tree. Deep has contributed production to the underground classic compilation Old Trolls New Brigde, LoDeck's solo album, Dream Dentistry and the infamous Many Styles self titled debut release. Recently, he's been at work on Jak Progresso's album, Random Violence (This kid never dissappoints an audience looking for blood, senseless surreal logic and disturbingly unique takes on turning wrong into right.) Homie has been doing it since the early 90's. Yet another artist that marks the notion that hip-hop is no longer catering to just the youth, but an actual culture that is evolving to a level of legitemacy acknowlegded by even the most conservative Muslim torturing republican or stock broke peanut counter...Tracey Jones
“If Deep hasn’t spun at your east coast party, then he’s produced a track for one of your favorite independent artists… A notorious doctor of sampling, Deep – along with his fellow Hungry Brother Ben boogz- can surprise masses with rare flamenco samples or even a video game loop. The New York native’s beats are completely unpredictable, much like the night of your deflowering.” … Kathy Iandoli for Skope May-June 2007
“The album Frequent Flyers, compiled by accomplished producers, Deep and Ben Boogie, is a compilation of some songs by some of the best underground Mcees in New York. Frequent Flyers is for anyone who is a fan of good music and not of artists who box themselves in a carefully placed genre.”- Alex Clermont Beyond Race Nov/Dec 06
“Most of ya’ll know that the 2 Hungry Bros have got that heat when it comes to the beats. It’s only a matter of time before their payday comes.” Thug E. Fresh to Def Interboro Rock Tribune summer’06
“Plus Deep and Ben Boogie, the 2 hungry bros, hook the beats up lovely. There’s nothing that pisses me off more than an album that sounds pieced together. On Random Violence, the Bros keep that constant heat coming with ill samples, weird movie dialogue, and hard drums (not that high pitch keyboard shit) that keeps the album flowing without having to skip over any tracks.”- Advisor Interboro Rock Tribune Winter 07
“This album is truly outstanding. The production duties on this album are taken care of by a quality group of people: Luminary, Tonedeff, Fred ones, Blockhead, DEEP, and Blowout on the cuts.”-Fubz for Beautiful Decay Issue K (Many Styles album review)
