Indeed
(Astronome)
A collection of darkwave tunes, Indeed delves into some engaging electronics and ambiances with beats and layers of sounds apt for a movie soundtrack. Miami's Marq Withers orchestrates a Goth-tinged atmosphere on “Glimmer,” where backward-masked sounds intertwine with a tribal feel and operatic vocals not too far removed from old school metal. Instrumental tunes like “Regret” seem to be removed from a James Bond movie, while “La Madrugada” floats around in a sea of synths. Experimental enough to stand out but not to the point of alienating listeners, Indeed is a promising debut.

Surrealistic, futuristic, makes one think there is more beyond.

I enjoyed this CD because it is different, surrealistic, imaginative and meditative. It transports one to noetic meadows in the akasha. This is the dark before the light.

2XL transcends genre.

2XL is the freshest thing I've heard in a long time. It's practically impossible to compare this CD to anything else out there. There's a little bit of so many different influences (from Bjork and Portishead to Iron Maiden and Dead Can Dance) in here, and yet it sounds nothing like any of them. Sure, it's dark, but under the darkness, there are great melodies. I definitely recommend this CD for anyone tired of the same old crap.
