Album Notes

The days of the old "Country Cowboy" are vanishing. 32 Below is bringing the new age of country music & people love what they hear. 32 Below is on a mission to change the redundent Nashville cookie cutter industry. With a very high energy show that will rival any of todays rock shows to ballads that any music lover could embrace.
32 Below hit the ground running in December of 2001 and they see no signs of slowing down. The group is made up of 5 very talented young guys who absolutely love what they do, and it shows onstage. They love to have a good time, and they make sure their audience does too. 32 Below has headlined thier own shows as well as opened for National Acts like Sawyer Brown, Heart, Trick Pony, Montgomery Gentry, Lonestar, Jamie O'Neal, Craig Morgan, Cowboy Troy and Steve Azar.
In 2006, 32 Below started to out sell some National Acts that played the same venues. No longer able to play the local ND/MN clubs that they started in, they now have to promote their own shows at 2,000+ seat venues. Also, it's not uncommon to see 2,000+ at a 32 Below street Dance.
Examples:
Ryder, ND - 5,000 - street dance
Harvey, ND - 4,000 - street dance
The Venue - Fargo, ND - 2,500 - self promoted show
The Civic Center - Fargo, ND - 2,000 - self promoted show
All Seasons Arena - Minot, ND - 2,200 - self promoted show

Also, in 2006, 32 Below was chosen as the headliner for Artic Cat's International Convention in Cancun, Mexico. In 2007, 32 Below is scheduled to play the main stage, beating out some of Nashville newest stars, at WeFest in Detroit Lake, MN. WeFest is a 3 day, 150,000 person, country music festival.
Their debut CD is on constant rotation on the country radio stations in the Upper Midwest and the release of "The Devil In Me" from their second album has taken on a life of its own by being one of the most requested songs in the Minn/Dakota area of 2004. In 2006, 32 Below has released "Kick'n Back" to the airwaves with instant airplay. It is included on their Live CD/DVD "This One's for the Fans".
32 Below currently resides in Nashville, TN, as one of the Wildhorse Saloon's top bands.
As of 2007, 32 Below has sold over a combined 11,000 CD's. So make sure to catch 32 Below when they come to your town, you won't regret it.

Letter of Recommendation
"For Montgomery Gentry, music has been a part of our lives ever since we can remember. Growing up in the Honky Tonks of Kentucky and making a living performing live music is how we "cut our teeth". We've seen everything from "Good", to "Better", to "Keep your day gig". A couple of years ago, after a show in Fargo, ND, we stumbled into a bar and caught the last set of the band called 32 Below. Not only were we riveted, but so was the crowd. On stage there are bands that hope for your attention, and then there are bands that grab you by the ears and demand it. From the distinct vocal harmonies, to the accomplished musicianship, to their professional demeanor, we were very impressed.
We believe in them so much we've encouraged them to make the move to Nashville.
It's only a matter of time."
Eddie Montgomery

Awesome Music
author: Steve Mohl
I have all four albums now. These guys are AWESOME!!!! I hope they make it big time. I have all of their songs loaded on my MP3 player. I listen to them in the car, at home, at work, at....you get the idea. I love country music, of all types, from Hank Sr and Roy Acuff right up to the newest bands. I do not agree that this is not country. Great CD guys, keep them coming. Also I love the original stuff. Covers are ok, but doing your own stuff is GREAT!

Great CD but not Country
author: Robin
While I love rockn' country, this is not. I'm a fan of Jason Aldean and others that do have a rock n' flair to their country like The Lost Trailer, but this is a pure rock CD. It's a really good CD so I give it three stars, but I cannot give it 5 stars since it is supposed to be country. Country fans may love this CD, but that's because most of them love pure rock as much as they love country. These guys just aren't rock n' country, they are rock (i.e. Daughtry, Nickelback, etc.)
