Classic British melodic pop with blended vocal harmonies. Except, perhaps for "Steel" which, frankly, defies description.

As good as the first, no doubt.

Again, real emotion and feeling. Steel is very PSB,others are very Beatles,a real roller coaster ride of jenres. I love the dark lyrics and bouncy tunes these songs have. Not as innocent as the titles might suggest! You're missing out if you dont buy this, its great.

A brilliant follow up, a breath of fresh air!

Another wonderful piece of work from those little critters! Bizarrely, I didn't fall in love this immediately, it took some time for me to get it into it - but when I did it made volume 1 pale in comparison, and that's saying something! It's much more daring than volume 1, but this really is at the cutting edge! There are lots of new things going on here, especially the sublime STEEL which utilises Mr Connah's electronica abilities to the max. None of this is what you'd expect, that's why I like it so much! With such a great predecessor, it could have been easy to produce something inferior, but the boys have created something here which is truly unique. It's genre defining, boundary changing stuff. Highly recommended from someone with a very short musical attention span (!) - not to be confused with manufactured pop music, this is the real McCoy, proper music, to challenge your mind and your soul! If you have a good hi-fi you'll like this too, very revealing!
