3canal is a three man group from Trinidad. Their music is connected to a whole Vibe emanating from the "Jouvay" of Trinidad's Carnival. Jouvay is the pre-dawn ritual of resistance marking the beginning of The Carnival. 3canal's music [Rapso Music] speaks of a Revolution of the Mind and Spirit of a people caught in a battle to regain their sense of self in a sweeping tide of global monoculture and consumerism. These guys are not just singers, they are modern day philosophers who skillfully marry their potent political & social 'bombs' with infectious melodic lines and rhythmic beats. 3canal Vibes is their 7th album in their 9 year career in the music business. 3canal Vibes seeks to connect to and awaken the Warrior Spirit in all of us as we face our daily battles.
