Husband-wife team, Tish Meeks (lead vocals, guitar) and Tony Meeks (guitar) launched 3 Kisses in Austin, TX, in January 2004 and since that time the band has released 3 CDs, performed hundreds of live shows and played for crowds as big as 50,000. Tish and Tony Meeks were recently featured on ABC’s ‘Wife Swap’ garnering the highest ratings in the show’s history with almost 9 million viewers and featuring several clips of 3 Kisses live. The charismatic rhythm section featuring Tim Legan (drums) and John Amelang (bass) round out this high-energy, crowd pleasing act.
3 Kisses jumps from one high energy style to another with traces of just about every cool female-fronted rock band of the last 20 years. 3 Kisses’ live performance has been called ‘freakin’ explosive’ and Tish Meeks has been referred to as ‘a ball of fire on stage.’ An idiosyncratic combination of alternative, pop, rock and punk filled with catchy guitar hooks and introspective lyrics, the heartfelt vocals and positive party vibe make the songs of 3 Kisses addicting. Tumultuous lyrics delivered in a zany, upbeat fashion have become a 3 Kisses trademark. Says Dan Workman, SUGARHILL STUDIOS, “3 Kisses completely own the audience with their punkish 'cuddle-angst'. Their songs are based on fun and intelligent mock anger--pierced tongue in cheek anthems to annoyance that everyone in the audience can relate to and smile about."
In addition to their regular tour schedule, 3 Kisses supports breast cancer research by performing at Susan G. Komen Events and donating a portion of their CD sales to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Tish’s original story, Legacy, about the loss of her mother to breast cancer, appeared in Jack Canfield & Mark Victor Hansen’s Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul in December 2004.
3 Kisses has been featured multiple times on the FOX 7 Morning Show in Austin, TX, WOAI-NBC in San Antonio, TX, KTRK-ABC in Houston, TX, KLBJ 93.7FM in Austin, Indie-Music.com, Female Musician Magazine, One Way Magazine, Origivation Magazine, The Macon Telegraph, The Brenham Banner Press, The College Station Eagle, EDGE Magazine, The Austin American Statesman and the Atlantic Monthly. They were inducted into the Independent Artist Registry in 2006.
The band premiered their first music video Yellow in September 2004, released their debut CD Wings in November 2004, their sophomore album, It All Comes Down To Me in June 2006 and their 3rd CD, Nut Job in May 2007. 3 Kisses has toured up and down the East Coast and has plans to visit other areas of the US in 2007. Other notable performances include multiple showcases during SXSW in Austin, Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA, Independent Music Conference in Philadelphia, PA, Dewey Beach Music Conference in Dewey Beach, DE and Austin’s Heart of Texas Quadruple Bypass Festival.

Good stuff my friends! Choking Susan – Detroit, Michigan
Always a little skeptical when a band says that none of their songs sound alike, but by golly you weren't lying. Like it a lot. You guys want to get yourselves to Japan, they will go wild for you, I'm sure. Dogs Die In Hot Cars (Ruth) – United Kingdom
Yay! Ramones on 78 rpm! I had to check the mirror if my acne had come back. This reminds me so much of the early days of punk 30 years ago. Amazing energy, awesome singer with a young loud and snotty voice. Sounds like so many (good) bands: Richard Hell and the Voidoids, X Ray specs, Buzzcocks, Jayne County (!, lol), too many to mention. You'll probably get a lot of shit about the production from people who wear skater clothes and listen to Green Day and think Avril Lavigne is the toughest bitch alive. I'm confident you'll stick to this sound and you should. It's A-1 certified 100% punk pop. Guitars, drums, bass, I like it all. A lot. Tuppus - Groningen, Netherlands
Hey Punk Chick! This is good. Great vocals and good melody and a shouty chorus - what more do you need? This would be number 1 in the punk charts. Reminds me of the Rezillos. You and your band should be big. Luv ya. Straight on ma playlist. The Sealed Cupboard Society – Scotland, UK
Kick ass! The mood is up beat and rocking, the singer sounds like Tilt and the music sounds like The Donnas. Unable to Adapt - Forked Island, Louisiana
YYEAAAHH! I loved it from the first two chords. Very raw. I really like the counter vocals in the chorus. Tight stops, but sloppy enough to be punk. Reminds me a bit of Jet with more punk influence. Short Drop Method - Providence, Rhode Island
Cool Punk Garage! Nice dirty guitar tone in the intro. I'm a sucker for female vocals. Of course the Joan Jett comparisons will fly... Cool panning on the backups. Nice arrangement with the guitar riff between verses. Very punk, 60's garage. Love it! The Offramps - Plymouth, Michigan
Let’s Dance! I like the old school grittiness. Angry female vox are kinda hot. Good straightforward rock and roll - 70's style. Utter Me A Mumble - Leyden, Massachusetts
Go go go! Getting a nice London 77 feeling here! Great punk rock with attitude, cool sound and very good vocals. Rawmania – Sweden
Artistic Punks! Joan Jett has kids! Nice pop production ! Sort of like a randy Go-Go's! Your personality is shining through! Kudos! Great Band sound! Working well together are all the parts. Lyrics are amusing and vocals are heartfelt! You have it figured out…This should work out fine live! Mindpoppers - Hometown, Yukon
I love the drumming here. It's simple yet somewhat complex - very nicely done. Great choruses. Actually I just like all the lyrics. The singer does a good job, too. I like her voice. Backup vocals also did well. It kind of sounds like the Yeah Yeah Yeah's but a bit harder, maybe a bit of Choking Susan. Oh and the mood? …Well, let’s dance. The Smash Babies - Warren, Ohio
Southern pop punk! I think it's well original. The production is pretty good and on queue. Originality is very much there, though. Instrumental Asylum- Cordelia Junction, California
Very nice! I like the tunes, the melody and especially the intro. The drums, well - spot on! Guitar and bass sounds awesome as well, and the vocal is really raw - in a very good way. This is something I would come back listening too. Good job! The National Shutup - Copenhagen, Denmark
Summer. The singer reminds me bit of Brody Dalle in places! Catchy little songs keep the listener very hooked! Second Storey
Chick Bands Rule!!! I liked it, very 80's girl punk. Vanishing Point Music - Regency, Virginia
This is cool! Classic old school punk pop like Holly & the Italians. Strong melodies and plenty of hooks. Like the female singer and the production is just right. Sonic Negroes - Sweden
Interesting direction. Sounds more like inde esque punk. It’s got pop sensibilities and strange off-beat lyrics. I like the originality and the vocals are fine! Otenki – Houston, TX
10 seconds in and I love it! Great fun songs, great guitar hooks. I like the singing - old school ramones feel. Lyrics are great – very good songs, actually. Another Nobody – New York
Nut Job – yeah! Cool lyrics, funny and audible. Great guitar. You can hear that this band is havin’ fun – that’s important to me. The hooks give the songs an original feel. Rock on! d.a.d. duckanddive – Cape Town, South Africa
I like this! The lyrics are hilarious and tick all the boxes in terms of pop punk. Enjoyed. Nice guitar tone. ...Like the The Dickies dumb but brilliant. Magicalex – New Malden, UK
Old school mix up…This old school punk mix up is something I would hear at a biker bar. I like the hooks and they will stick in my head. You have a winner. Make Charlie proud. Grade: A
Articfish - Henderson, Nevada
I really like the guitar in this! It’s amazing. And I really like the female vocals too. Being a girl, I like to hear girls singing in bands. Y’all have good rhythm and style…I really like this band.
Heart[less] - Alexandria, Virginia
Punk 4 Real! I think I saw you guys at CBGB's in the 70s. The industry needs more stuff like this! Tricky changes along with in your face vocals. Makes a great mix! You rock me!
Frydyed - Kansas City, Kansas
Crispy. Nice crispy guitar riffs. Very basic but it's not like everything else so you have that going for you. It has a sort of "old school" feel to it. The Adorkables - Salinas, California
Classic Pop/Punk Feel. I really miss this style of music. Reminds me of a combination of the Donnas and Lunachicks. Catchy classic pop/punk riff carries the song. I don't know if I'd like this as much without the vocalist's raspy style. The Advance - Wichita Falls, Texas
It’s Not About You…tight drum intro. reminds of a rancid song with girl vocals. i like it alot. song has a catchy melody and the girl can sing. good work! Nuke Detroit – Farmington Hills, Michigan
Nut Job - Nice frantic use of wah wah at the start. Good female punk vocals. Catchy chorus. I like the lyrics like "can't figure out what makes you tick, don't want to see you explode". Good band. Waspman – Croydon, United Kingdom
