The title cut of the album, "Bring me the Monkey", is a ridiculous funky song that will bring a smile to your face, and a swing to your hips. "What is Love" is a Soul Ballad of lost love and smokin arrangement with a full horn section and soulful background vocals. "Accommodating Lover" is a blues shuffle with horns and honest (but not explicit) lyrics. "Frosty" is primarily an instrumental FUNK piece with layers of rhythms featuring a tenor sax solo as well as a full horn arrangement. "Put the Saxophone Down" is a funk instrumental with some "gang" chants. "Love Stamp" is a blues tune with stop times, sax solo, and funny engaging lyrics.
