Album Notes

In early 2002, the experimental electronic project 404 Not Found solidified into a core group of performers, and changed their focus from internet collaboration to live performance. After two years of refining their material and honing their musical sound, the group recorded and released "Paper Cuts" at the end of 2003.

This CD has 12 spoken word poetry pieces performed by Scott Siders, with musical accompaniment by Todd Bradley, Byron Jacquot, Gene Sobczek, and Stephanie Szostek. Siders' sharp wordsmithing runs from wry humor to social commentary to anger. It is set to musical numbers inspired by funk, 70's album rock, Brit metal, post-grunge, and electronic industrial.

"Paper Cuts" is the 6th independent CD from 404 Not Found.

This sounds like a real band!

This sounds like a real band! An energetic start to this new direction for 404 Not Found. Over all this new sound quality surpasses anything that has come out of the band before. The new sound is more organic and more cohesive than previous releases due to the addition of bass guitar and a full drum set. The jams are cool and the stories are great. Good Job 404!!
