The 48th/49th Compilation Volume 1 is the first full-length release from 48th/49th Records and introduces you to our Rap groups ABG - Armed Black Guerrillaz and Royal Family as well as solo artist Man-U on the track "Situationz", which is about a day in the life of a young nigga from the streets. No hook, just str8 spitting the story out and giving it to U raw!
Check out the clip on "When We Ride" by ABG. This song is produced by Boo Boo Tha Fool of Asiatic Productions here in DC. Boo Boo produced a masterpiece with this one, where Kenny LoCo ( a female rapper ) dives in and splashes on the track in the opening verse with Beef Capone having her back with the second verse of mobstyle tactics. This one is a scorcher. But not the only one.
Royal Family, a young group of 3 teenagers who Skinny Corleone signed to the label in 1999 and has developed into the most lyrical and lethal force ever to be released shines on their first outing on "NTroDucN...Tha Royal Family", which was produced by Kevin Green of 19 Productions and features rap veteran Mega doing additional vocalz and the Hook as the young'uns literally crush the track.
On the song - "At Any Cost", which was produced by Kevin Green. Introduces our artists JR and Ron Ron to the masses with Ron Ron and Man-U delivering a crucial message to the competition. Check the sample?
On the anthem track - "Represent". Royal Family rips the southern style track to pieces as they tell you to "Represent! Who U with nigga!? 48th/49th, U know know we drops hits nigga. Represent! Who U with nigga!? 48th/49th - U know we pop clipz nigga"! This track was produced again by Kevin Green.
Oh yeah, Kevin even demonstrates his raps skills and lends vocals on "U Don't Have 2 Worry" and "Shallow Waterz". Where he wrote the hooks and coordinated the vocals on "U Don't Have 2 Worry". The song concept for "Shallow Waterz" is a collaboration with Kevin Green and Darryl B. of ABG. The concept for this song was also created by Kevin, where he puts down the blazing first 2 verses with vigor and conviction with Darryl B. putting in the monstrous last 2 follow up verses to finish the song. Hook for Shallow Waterz was written by Kevin and performd by Ty Gotti and Kenny LoCo of ABG.
