4 out of 5 Doctors were a Washington DC based power pop, new wave band that was signed to CBS Records in 1979. They released two albums for CBS in 1981 and 1982 that are still popular with thier fans today. During their brief career, basically 1977 to 1983, they wrote and recorded dozens of tracks that were never released. Post Op is an anthology of these songs spanning the time before, during, and after the CBS releases. The songs here, 21 of them, cover a broad spectrum music reflecting the influences and talents of 3 songwriters. Tracks 1 - 10 were recorded at the Doctor's Lost Basement Studios in McLean, Virginia beetween 1977 and 1981. Tracks 11 - 21 were recorded at Room 10 Studios in Washington, DC in 1982 and 1983.
