51 South is the newest Top 40 Country & Classic Rock sensation from Mississippi! They provide a high energy show consisting of their own originals, top 40 and classic country as well as the best of classic rock.

Born and raised in Mississippi, the members of 51 South are deep-rooted in Mississippi’s rich musical heritage. With influences like Elvis, B.B. King, Howlin’ Wolf, John Fogerty, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, George Jones, U2, Kiss and Stevie Ray Vaughn, their musical style is diverse to say the least. They have developed a blend of these styles to create a sound that is unique and easily recognizable.
The band’s founder, Wesley Lepard, has tried to include something for everyone on their upcoming CD release. From the swamp-rockin’ “Lost in Louisiana” to the blistering “Country Girls” to the mellow tear-jerker “Always In Love With You”, there’s sure to be a song for everyone.
