Arguably the best rock trio since the Pointer Sisters, 5ive O' Clock Charlie has been one of the best loved bands in the Southeast. Since the release of their first project, "Row Your Boat" which to date has sold several thousand copies, the Chucksters have been keeping busy playing about 270 dates a year, including festivals, opening slots include the likes of Kenny Wayne Shephard. The band consists of three different musical backgrounds that when combined forge a sound that's electric, eclectic, and sometimes hectic. On vocals and guitar, mandolin, and the 5-string banjo there is Mike Roberts, on drums there is the head-smashing metronome himself, Scott Kennedy. Matt Ross handles all the groove duties on the bass. Also, our bell twicking, chime ringing, conga drum loving friend, Jeff Woods contributes a large new dimension to the latest songs we have recorded.

5OC ROCKS!!

5 stars for 5OC. Mike Roberts has the best vocals. Scott's great percussion and washboard style gets peoples' feet stepping off the beat. Matt Ross and his lefty bass is way cool. Clint Bailey has mad keyboard skills too. This CD is one of my favorites. I highly recommend it to anyone. The live shows are extremely awesome.

Gotta git yer hands on this ....

Another fine gig from Mike and buds. Everyone needs to get their hands on this one. It's kinda like blue-eyed- soul meets hard-rockin band with some sky-rocketing vocals and kickin' riffs. Alotta us have been waitin' for the good stuff to come along and this is definitely fits the bill. Hope for many more of these from the O-Clockers ..
