ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
We recorded this EP during the blistering summer of 2010. It was not only hot outside but was hot in the studio as well. We had to turn off everything electrical anytime we recorded a track because of buzz and the sensitive mics used. We definitely put a lot of sweat into this one. Thank goodness for our buddies in other bands that let us borrow a few things and made this project possible for us. All four of us had at least one crappy session but it mostly went pretty well thanks to Graham. This CD contains 4 songs that we re-cut from the "Kickin' Asphalt" album. We decided to remake these songs because the new '69 Model line-up plays them now with much more fire and enthusiasm. The songs are beefier, better structured, with better vocals and back-ups. Disc also contain 3 brand new songs that we are really proud of. We feel that this is a much more clear representation of what the band is now and where we are headed. We tend to cover quite a few genres including rock/metal, alternative and outlaw country and maybe some southern rock sounds. Subject matter in these tunes range from women that bitch every time you pick up your guitar to manufactured pop stars, from love lost to driving too damn fast, from working a dead end job to kicking someone's ass. Seven songs, six bucks, enjoy.
