Album Notes

There's a very broad space between all that can be experienced, and all that can be said with words. Fortunately, we have art and music to fill in the gap a little. This is an "edited for time, not for content" recording of a live performance with an iPad, a looper and a guitar synthesizer on Thanksgiving Day, 2011 in a wine bar in Portland, Oregon. All but track 7, "Re-circulating crosswinds" use iMaschine beats for the rhythm track. "Re-circulating crosswinds" features the AniMoog synthesizer. The album was recorded using the Alesis IO Dock for the iPad, Zoom R24 multii-track recorder, BOSS RC-50 Loop Station, Ibanez Artist guitar with GK-3 pickup and Roland VG-99 guitar multi-effects. The iMaschine beats were made in advance on my lunch breaks at work, and the guitar was improvised live.
