Album Notes

"Living the Dream" is the debut record from the East Coast Americana song writing duo named 6 East. Todd Nickerson and Jonathan Soucy, both from the Cape Cod area, wrote, performed and recorded the album with the help of strong backing musicians including percussionists Rob Loyot and Sam Holmstock (both from Entrain), Sean McLaughlin (37' Productions), and Mike Levesque (who has drummed for artists such as David Bowie and Susan Tedeschi). Acoustic folk, rock and country; the song's themes range from the political sarcasm and state of affairs in "Afraid in America" and "Living the Dream", to heartache in "Thought I Knew You" and "Baby I Don't Know", to capturing the spirit of New Orleans during the hurricane in "Katrina".
