This CD has 5 bonus tracks. It's 75 minutes long and 20 tracks deep. There are 6 guest appearances, freestyle tracks, 2 female solos, innovation, and production by dj eXacto and dj Denizen. Dj eXacto beautifully crafted all but 4 beats. This album is as much his, as it is mine.
In 2001, I was obsessed with the San Francisco Poetry scene. I was performing live twice a week in Oakland and Berkeley. After I tied for 1st at "The Oakland Poetry Slam", I hooked up with dj eXacto and started recording my debut album. Over a year and a half later "A Train of Events" was completed.
The Back of the CD States,"Request: Please at least once, lie on your back, headphones on, and listen to this recording in it's entirety."

I feel like nothing I can say about his album will truly do it justice. Hip-Hop, spoken word, poetry, philosophy, spirituality, life... I'm stricken by the openness and honesty... a refreshing change of atmosphere... sometimes poetic expression can come closer to truth than science or logic... sometimes a verbal diary, sometimes a message, sometimes rational, and always thoughtful... auditory artwork...

UK Review from Altrap.com!!

I'm normally not a great fan of spoken word stuff, but there's something about this that just clicks. This is CRAZY deep. The work of DJ Exacto and DJ Denizen on the boards is as impressive as 8's penchant for writing. Its undeniable that 8.bliss is supremely skilled with his writing - in many cases his descriptions of certain situations, people, and places, almost make you feel that you're a part of the story. Approach this with an open mind, a quiet hour, and a good set of headphones, and you may well be pleasantly surprised.

"A Train of Events" is fantastic, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but everyone will appreciate the skills 8.bliss has, the way he describes everything as he goes and builds a picture for you in your head is great.
8.bliss could open the world up to you, he is so descriptive in everything he says, this is real poetical genius to me. The album is dark at times and other times calming, go out and support 8.bliss, buy this wonderful album.

Let's scroll down a couple of years to a time when scientists will finally be able to present a device that turns virtual reality into a complete, sensual and emotional experience. Do as you're instructed and get taken on a mind journey through the streets of San Francisco and beyond, to a place where real-life action transcends into thoughts and images. When it comes to creating different moods for different topics, main producer DJ Exacto and 8.bliss have enough expertise to create a musically sound longplayer. Nothing less than existential matters. Expertly arranged.
