911 started out as a "garage hit & run" band, rocking out unique renditions of the classic standards of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Dylan, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and countless other crowd pleasers. 911 became one of the most recognized bands in north Florida within one year. They gained the loyalty of their fans with a true rock 'n roll performance.

Early in their career, 911 began mixing in their own original music along with the cover tunes. The originals were well received and soon became regular requests from the band's following.

In March 2000, 911 released a new CD of original music entitled, Mile In Her Shoes. Two of the tracks, Mile In Her Shoes and Do The Town were produced by John Kurzweg, producer of the band, Creed.

911 has performed from the Florida coast to New York City. The band has opened for national recording artists such as Robin Trower, John Lee Hooker, The Romantics, The Bonnie Raitt Band, Steppenwolf, BB King, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Red Hot Chili Peppers and others.

Mile in Her Shoes

I've seen Drew play live several times. "Sundance" is the fastest, most precise sustained guitar work I've ever seen or heard. "Won't Give Up" is just a great tune that is a real pick-me-up party jam. Keep it up Drew.
