Saturday Night at Sea

Have know these fellows for nigh on 20 years. They a like a fine wine getting better with age. You cannot help but tap your foot with each song, and stomp your feet with Jolly Grog. This CD is a must for anyone who loves the music of the Civil War.

Wonderful Renditions of Traditional Music

I saw these fellows live at Shanties Chicago in 2004 and just loved their work. They have a richness in this album that other groups can't even begin to reach. Each song feels different, fun and enthusiastic. The renditions, while all very standard, are delivered with energy and a love for their craft. I can't recommend them enough - and see them live if you can!

Great CD

This is a great cd if you like old sailing toons or Civil War erra music. The instruments sound great! I would buy this cd no problem. The Drunken Sailor song is the best I have heard so far on any cd. This was just a great cd overall.
