Album Notes

This EP is a result of a fifteen year old friendship between both bands and initiated by 9dw. "Stingray" is a cosmic disco tune laden with analog synthesizers. On "Spice", creamy synth bass and light drums combine to make a fresh fusion sound. Boris contributed two new songs for this release. "Tokyo Wonder Land" is an experimental tune which uses a cheap drum machine and filter bass, while "Akirame Flower" is a more typical Boris sounding track featuring their trademark wall of sound guitar noise and drone vocals.

9dw's latest acclaimed self-titled album gets a vinyl release on the Brooklyn, NY-based Wax Poetics label on September 9. Boris will contribute their music to the next Jim Jarmusch movie "The Limits of Control".
