International reviews:

In terms of music Feel To Heal seems to be chilled out electronica with a female vocalist - the sound falling somewhere between a pared back Pet Shop Boys [but of the female gender], and the lushly baroque electronica of Enigma. The ten tracks are very easy on the ear with the woman vocalist well mixed to the front of the sound. It actually helps in that she can really sing. The lyrics are a bit new age-ish, but less erotic than that of Enigma - more romantic if anything. It's a very accessible album, at home in or out of a club's chill-out room. Feel To Heal is apparently the first of a series about the elements… It all sounds very mysterious and yes, enigmatic… Feel To Heal is a wonderfully listenable and approachable album…
- The Borderland

Here's one that's different... heavy beat under a lady's vocals that are both mysterious and relaxing at the same time. It's certainly not jazz, though it can't really be classified as (either) trance or dance, either. I do like the beats, & think this one might do well as background for therapy of one sort or another… The more full-bodied tunes that come closer to the "dance" genre, such as "Just to Dance with You”, come a bit closer to what I might listen to… I give it a RECOMMENDED... "EQ" (energy quotient) pegs out at 3.45 (the scale is 1-5). Rotcod Zzaj, ZZaj Productions

Wow, after hearing this alive and amazing CD I have come up with a new genre, "New Age Sensual". This great music is deeply moving with a nice refreshing smack of reality all at the same time. All I can say is this baby woke me up. A must listen, it has made its way into my spiritual tool box. I would recommend this precious buddy to anyone wanting a spiritually sensual experience. Thanks so much, for showing me I still got it.
1. Cool Water - Nice deeply sensual & flowing.
2. The Moon Told Me - Subtle, but on fire.
3. Not Love - Here come the tears, so gentle, so amazing.
4. In My Arms - nice fast pace, great story about wanton love..
5. Just to Dance With You - The flow is so romantic and erotic.
6. The Man That Never Was - Oh so catchy, I hummed it for days. (It gave me chills)
7. Master Mind - Great message, flowing and oh so true.
8. Feel To Heal - Up beat and wonderful for moving and grooving.
9. Bruised Tears - Slow, and very healing, a sensual tear-jerker.
10. Fynrien's Dream - Enter the fairies, wow I actually saw them swaying and floating to the music. My hands down favorite, boy did this one take me places.
I am playing the songs on my radio station www.wer1radio.com
so please feel free to tune in and listen.

Modern Day Muse
Author: John P. Olsen
9Muses is a recent artist title to send a modern mix for those who like New Age Alternative, with melodic female vocals and a lively rhythmic beat. While listening to the CD, my foot began to tap, and it occurred to me that a lively Pop influence could be added on the album description too, since mainstream audiences will like the modern day direction this album projects.
Feel to Heal is the title from 9Muses and first in their Elements Series, that predicts more releases to follow from the artist, with this first 10 lyrical love songs belonging in the theme of 9 Greek mythological muses, whose purpose is to liberate the listener’s artistic creations related to song, literature, and the arts.
Cool Water is a decorative ornamental song, with percussion and keyboard backing trendy vocals that are displayed as light and pleasant, along with a faster tempo snare drum and groove based instrumentation, giving a nice arrangement from this first muse.
The Moon Told Me is much like the first song by the alluring vocals, rhythmic pace, and lighter melody, but the Rock style guitar runs make a noticeable distinction between this first group of songs.
The middle tempo is maintained with In My Arms, carrying much of the modern day vocals and keyboard instrumentation patterned with a similar mindset. There are also some chic percussion enhancements like heard in The Man That Never Was, which vocalizes lyrical connotations of a lost love and everything that embodies.
Master Mind starts out with a memorable beginning while posturing in slower, more anticipated vocals like heard in Not Love & Just to Dance With You. Bruised Tears is also among this song formation that changes the collective mood while also sustaining the engaging sensual theme. The intriguing lyrics behind compelling female vocals are joined with moderate percussion rhythms and synthesizer backgrounds to exhibit more casual surroundings.
The 9Muses album title song Feel to Heal rebounds boldly by a brisk tempo and set in stone (Dun da Dun da Dunt) energy driven Groove rhythm, having a tantalizing pronunciation in keyboard delivery that generates attention right from the start. Percussion maintains this articulated faster tempo, while the elaborate xylophone runs intermingled with the vocals effectively add an interesting angle, becoming a nice touch to a vogue song having more of a Pop resemblance.
While this album may not be a classic New Age presentation, there certainly is an audience that will appreciate this Contemporary Vocal blend, and you can rest assured that NewAgeMusic.Nu can easily find music to fit a wide variety of musical tastes.

A bit of intrigue surrounds the release of "Feel to Heal" by 9 Muses. The cover letter that came with the CD tantalizingly says, “Feel to Heal is the first in the Elements series and also introduces the listener to the first of the nine muses. More about her will be revealed shortly. First we let the music speak.” Hmmmmm! The identity of the artist(s) is not given in the credits or letter, so this is all very mysterious! The album itself is a lovely set of ten songs sung with the ethereal voice of what sounds like one woman (the first muse, I’m sure!). The poetic lyrics are accompanied by fairly simple instrumentation and rhythms that serve to enhance the hypnotic effect of the gentle words and voice. The theme of most of the songs is romance and love, but this is no cookie-cutter pop album. These themes are mostly of a more mature nature with dreamy, poetic thoughts rather than predictable rhymes. Feel To Heal begins with “Cool Water,” a sensual song that is accompanied by a interesting rhythm and keyboard chords in the background. 9 Muses’ voice carries the melody singly and with layers near the end. This is definitely an attention-grabber! “The Moon Told Me” has a little more instrumentation, but it’s still very spare. I really like this one a lot - a passionate love song to a fiery demon and an angel. “The Man That Never Was” is about a fantasy man who has captivated the heart of the singer. The chorus’ tango rhythm could become an anthem for single women everywhere! “Master Mind” is more of a folk song accompanied by only guitar for the verses; strings are added for the choruses. The title track is a lot of fun! A strong rhythm and catchy melody make this one very radio-friendly. Exotic interludes and fascinating lyrics make it a real standout. Love it! As the title implies, “Bruised Tears” is about the most painful of heartbreaks - mournful and very moving. “Fynrien’s Dream” is magical and sparkling. There are no lyrics for this lovely song - just the sweet, dreamy voices and gentle, floating keyboard. Heavenly! 9 Muses has created a very impressive debut. I’m anxious to learn more about them (or her), and to hear more of this music.
