BIOGRAPHY...

The well known and respected name AERA ONE is synonymous with the hip hop subculture. It began with an admiration for the many talented graffiti artists that emerged from his home turf known as the DMV ( D.C. Maryland, and Virginia ), and has evolved into a successful musical career. AERA ONE has made his mark as a graffiti artist and a DJ through years of hard work and dedication and has performed in most major U.S. cities as well as in Amsterdam, Stockholm, and several other international hotspots. After over a decade of spinning sets and backing an extensive list of accomplished hip hop and reggae artists, it was time to move on to creating original music.
Production had always been a passion to AERA ONE and the mean team of talent in his corner. Cinematic and soulful beats, thorough and authentic lyrics, and an ambitious grass roots work ethic have set him and his collaborators apart from the rest. The 2010 release of his solo debut "The Industry" marked a major milestone and has received much praise and critical acclaim throughout the hip hop community. With features from legendary Brooklyn duo Smif N Wessun, and Jamaicas' own Sizzla, plus the DMVs finest K-Beta, this album is sure to become a independent hip hop classic.
