Spawning from the vast bible-belt hell in 2004, American Gothic was born. From their first official gig in February of 2005 supporting their 5-song EP at Somewhere Else Tavern in Greensboro, North Carolina, to their most recent triumphs in the Twin Cities, Minnesota (now the band’s home), American Gothic has endured the best and worst of playing in a “hell-bent on success” rock n’ roll band, being sick of the current state of music, with it's sugar-pop bullshit, and anything-to-make-a-buck ''artists''.
After taking almost a year off from playing live shows to record back in their home town of Winston Salem NC, the band trecked back to MN and have hit the ground runnin' to continue to build its reputation with the band's outlandish personna and extreme live shows.
Ultimately, the success of the band’s musical output, support from fans, and relentless work ethic have primed the band to release their highly anticipated full length debut ‘’A Hodgepodge Clusterfuck of High-Anxiety Chaos’’ on Friday the 13th- August 13 2010.
