Album Notes

Character is an eclectic fusion of electro-acoustic vibes with a touch of ambience, all held together by fresh minimal grooves. Anna collaborated with UK based producer Alex Forster on the album, with recording and production carried out between London and Barcelona at a combination of renegade and pro-studios. Anna performs regularly in Barcelona both solo and with her group Sexy Beer. Anna aims to deliver her music to international audiences through licensing, touring and collaborative opportunities.

Twenty-six year old Australian musician/songwriter Anna Morley will self-release her debut EP, Character, under independent record label Gazebo Music®. On October 22 at 9.30pm, Anna will take the stage at La Cova de les Cultures, Barcelona, with a live audio-visual performance accompanied by international musicians and visual delights provided by Award winning photographer, Lock Morley.

Anna is a multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years of performance experience. Anna has performed with well-known Australian acts such as jazz legend James Morrison, opera diva Marina Prior and toured with comedy duo The Scared Weird Little Guys. Classically trained at Melbourne’s Conservatorium of Music and the Victorian College of the Arts, Anna is principally a vibraphone player. In Character, Anna also lends her talents to violin, vocals and a range of keyboard and percussion instruments.
