Album Notes

This was actually two different projects, before CDs! These were songs written in my twenties and early thirties , when, both as a youth minister and young wife and mother, I searched for ways to bring the real presence of Jesus to those in my life. Each song comes from an experience...either in my life or someone close to me. Some were attempts to make the gospel come alive for children I was teaching. Some were answers to heartfelt questions or meant to speak to situations in the lives of the teens in my youth group. The song I wrote my husband for our wedding and the lullaby written for our first baby continue to chronicle my life...Really this is a collection of songs for the journey, for all that life is and brings. It's about faith and struggles and risiing again...It's about the cost of the cross and the reality of the resurrection. And ultimately, it's about the faithfulness, the love and the presence of Jesus in our lives.
