Arjuna (harp) and Shakya (violoncello, indian dilruba) met at the Open Sky House, a spiritual community near Cologne, Germany, where they began improvising together with other musicians during public concerts. Inspired and touched by these meetings, they started recording improvisations. The beauty of those little musical diamonds that emerged surprised both of them. Soon the idea came up to compile the quietest pieces onto a meditative CD.

Thus all of the music you hear on this CD has been created spontaneously without a pre-composed structure, in “one shot” so to speak. All pieces carry the vivid spark of the moment, out of which Arjuna and Shakya draw their inspiration. In fact, the music points towards that which you can sense in-between and behind the single sounds: empty space which gives birth to the flow of life; where there is nothing to do, and where nothing can be reached. Loving presence.
