Album Notes

Booker-T was born in Huntsville, Texas in 1984. He is a young man that has overcome turmoil and hardships in his life. He discovered he had a talent for music shortly after the death of his mother. In order for him to cope with the family and personal issues, he began writing in journals that he used to turn into songs.
Being highly influenced by the rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Booker-T mimicked them by rapping very fast and practicing his music in his spear time.
During his freshman year of high school, he decided to make his own underground mix tape, which were only gray tapes but he still managed to build a buzz that exploded through the school like wildfire. During his junior year, he ran into long time friend Darius Brown, who introduced him to Kountry Boy Records. After a brief audition, he became the newest member of the group. There he released his next underground CD "Patiently Waiting" which did wonders for the streets.
Shortly Booker-T became a house hold name. Coming from his hometown (which is a small town) Pointblank, he quickly gained recognition for his original flow, which many have compared him to Chamillionaire, T.I. and Zero, having the skill to either rap fast or slow.
Looking for more than just home town recognition, he decided to move to Houston (southwest) to follow his dream of becoming a rap artist. Here he would meet future rap mate Cash, who introduced him to producers Donald Watkins (Red-D) and Henry Stewart (Black) of South Records/Hittfest Productions.
This is where he began recording his first album "The One And Only". The combination of the excellent production of Red-D/Black and the lyrics of Booker-T....Booker-T is well on his way to becoming a rap icon.
