Album Notes

I was four years old when I fell in love with harp music and I still find it magical. The sound of the harp lingers in my heart. It lifts my spirits when I'm blue and celebrates with me when I'm happy. As a performer, it's an added delight when my audience falls in love along with me. My surprise has been that it's not familiar music that draws people in but little gems they've never heard before. There's something special about the first moment when one hears a new piece of music that delights, soothes and cheers.

This album contains some of my favorite music for harp, pieces I reach for when I play for my own enjoyment or when I'm asked to play something that's usually not heard on harp. Many of these have stood the test of time and have been popular for decades and some I'm sure will eventually fit that category.
