Album Notes

This album is dedicated to my 6th-grade teacher Mrs. Nellie Grace Harris and Sheila and Clyde Murray two special friends. Nellie Grace was also my mentor. She told my sister and I to never let a man promise us blue cheese from the moon. We were to look up at the moon and tell him there was no blue cheese up there! This never made any sense until I was grown-up and began writing songs. I thought about Nellie and almost instantly penned the song. Two years later I realized it was a country song. After getting it recorded I knew that I had to write a complete album. The rest of the songs were ideas I got while driving between schools teaching beginning strings. This album was a blast to create and record. I hope others enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.
