Album Notes

If you're a fan of electric blues with a touch of acoustic sensibilities then this cd is for you!

Bare Bones features six Bigfoot Joe originals as well as covers of some of the classics, including tunes by Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Jimmy Reed, Bo Diddley and the Allman Brothers.

The originals draw from a range of influences, from old-time Detroit blues through to porch-style acoustic blues.

Bare Bones showcases Al Farrell's strong vocals and drumming (honed by many years on the blues circuit throughout the US and Canada), Jordie Edmonds' intensely passionate and tone-ful guitar work, and Alec (the Lump) Lee's big bottom end with both a doghouse and a fender jazz bass.
