Album Notes

The inspitation for this collection of songs comes from that wonderful freeing sensation of a summer vacation. The collection was carefully composed and arranged to provide easy listening while relaxing at the shore. The source of each song is derived from actual experiences and observations of the author. While approximately twenty songs were composed for this collection, the album was reduced to seven songs to insure a consistent reference to theme. The song styles are diverse to allow for an interesting flow throughout the album while concurrently maintaining its musical reference to the theme and an easy listening format.

The collection is augmented with interesting background instruments giving it a nice island feel. Background vocal parts of a chanting style add some fun to the strong melodies.

All parts of the album were recorded by its author, Bill Klemm. The project was recorded at Roozle Records in New Jersey then mixed and mastered by Alan Jax Bowers at MudCut Studios in Pennsylvania.
