With the third album release, Broken Twisted World, Bloodroot evolves even further expanding the influences they draw from while remaining true to their rock roots.

With soulful, heavy vocals and warm harmonies from Johnny and Roman, throbbing bass and explosive drums from Karl Wilcox, the songs range from lighthearted to psychedelic, to dark and spooky. The tracks continuously jump out, and grab you with catchy melodies and driving rhythms. A Moog synthesizer makes a surprising guest appearances harkening back to the earlier days of music. With occasional surprising short interludes between songs, they display added artistry.

Much of this material was written while the group was touring the UK and The Netherlands
