Album Notes

BLUE COUNTY LINE is a North Idaho based band that delivers powerful rhythmic melodies and gritty "in-your-face" vocals in the Country-Rock genre. Formed in early 2009, BLUE COUNTY LINE immediately took to the writer's chair and penned twelve original tunes that deliver a message to the workin' class that are struggling to survive, the rowdy country folks that are aching for a mud hole to get stuck in and the folks that love the reminicent feeling of vinyl records and the sound of the old. Their first album, "Down The Dirt Road" debuted in August 2009, and BLUE COUNTY LINE is quickly proving their dominance and passion for the music.

My favorite songs on this CD are "Down the Dirt Road" and "Country Came Home," but all of them portray powerful song writing and vocal talent. Be sure to listen close closely to the words of these originals because there's no doubt you'll relate. I also love the foot-stomping, upbeat and fun country sound. If you like country rock, you have to get this CD.

This CD rocks, with songs to fit any mood. "Ghosts on the Radio" offers a good listening for anyone in the nostalgic mood, while "(I'm pretty sure) You know I love you" is great for those more light-hearted days. I strongly recommend purchasing this CD to anyone who is in the mood for some good music!!!

This is an awesome album. Especially Ghosts On The Radio. The crackling in the beggining makes the song sound like it is an old record. Also I love every other song on the album. Blue County Line definitely deserves 5 stars. I cannot wait for their second album to come out.
