The Blue Flamingos "Pineapple Salsa Serenade" is a rare blend of two distinct musical explorers. Brian Black, a multi-instrumentalist (piano, acoustic guitar, slide resophonic guitar and harmonica, has 25 years of creating a vastly eclectic mix of music in many genres (pop, blues, ambient,). Mojo Johnson brings his stellar guitar skills and his depth of experiences as a world wide traveler, rubbing elbows with many cultural/ethnic music forms for the past 20 years. As a duo, their abilities and insights have joyfully created what lies within this album.....a finely crafted collaboration of instrumentals that promise to take you to your own "inner island" where the water is always warm, the breezes gentle and the sunsets a celebration!!
