Album Notes

Blueskillet is a working blues band for the 21st century. Started by husband and wife team Tadd & Monica Swanson, the band features bassist Dan Carroll and drummer Manuel Lopez. Written, recorded, produced, and mastered by the band, this album is the culmination of a true collaborative effort that highlights each member's contribution, while showing the band as a cohesive unit. A true family band, Cure These Blues was recorded while the band was on a hiatus to add another member to the Blueskillet family. Each member contributed lead vocals, writing, arrangement and production input, all while balancing work, other gigs, and family commitments throughout the process.

The album shows the band's flair for classic blues styling along with contemporary, modern blues rock. Blueskillet typically features a traditional guitar/bass/drums lineup. However, Cure These Blues features some great work on keys by Manuel and an excellent harp contribution by a close friend of the band.
