Utopia is an album based on the concept of this virtual reality we all call the Internet. Although a wonderful tool in so many ways, it has the tendency to create unrealistic expectations about life by flashing in front of us this opulent, synthetic and surreal existence which is only a big illusion composed of pixels and compressed energy. The songs are all related to the subject of fabricated fantasies created by the web. Here are the descriptions for many of the songs included in the CD 2-Disc Ultimate Edition Package.

Digital Lover:

This song was created to demonstrate how the Internet is reshaping our perception of what a mate could be. It gives everyone the illusion that they can find the perfect lover who will cater to their every need and whim but sadly, behind our computer screen we are all flawed human beings and no flesh and bone creature can ever fulfill every criteria we might have.

Lustful Puppylove:

This song is about pure passion, the one that transcends our soul to reach a deeper level of yearning and desire. It's also about how fleeting and ephemeral young love can be with life slowly eroding our preconceived notions.

Above All Clouds:

This song is about lost love and how it can mark us forever. We all come in contact at some point in our life with this one person who touches the deepest part of our heart which will never recover even if there might be other passions.

Pourquoi Pas:

Love is mostly lived through our imagination and that passion we feel is mainly caused by some chemical reactions in our brain. Yet, this often feels more real and visceral than any true life moment we might go through. Love... The eternal teaser.

Be Integrated:

This is a song about minorities that can unite to create a stronger, more diverse and influential entity to fight against prejudice and injustice thus creating a new bubble of positive energy. Say No to DRM technology. Say NO to Digital Oppression.

Synthetic Paradise:

This song relates to that place where we all yearn to take refuge in, this sort of fabricated haven where the harsh reality of life is somehow muted. Like a perfect island in the middle of nowhere, full of life, sun and beauty.

New Apprentice:

This song is about the losing battle against time we all have to endure from mother nature. How we all get swept into its deadly spiral that pushes us forward, gradually replaced by a younger prototype in this endless circle we call life.

Plan B:

This song is about the treachery that is adultery now put to the test through this new technology we all use. How being cheated on by a lover can be one of the most painful experience a human being can live through.

Save Us:

This song is about universal love and how it can save us all. Love has a way to melt through so many barriers put up by the evil side of human nature.

Bad Boy:

This song is about the dark side in all of us. How it can give the illusion that we are the master of our own faith, protected from the outside world when in fact we are forever a slave to it.

Fading AWay:

This song is about the cruel spell we are all under forcing us into oblivion through the grind of life. With its profound beauty yet dark undertone, human existence is extremely brief but can rise above the sky through the power of the spirit.

Binary Land:

This song is about the artificial nature of the Internet where every image is a frozen moment with deep evocative powers that somehow don't always accurately reflect the real life of the actual human being depicted.

Feel Me:

This song is about pure lust and the endless search for the perfect encounter where we could satisfy our collective yearning for the pleasure of the flesh.

Tomorrow Love:

This song is about the naive side of love. How we can be totally swept away by the promise of the eternal affection of another human being nature has somehow endowed with the power to make our soul quiver.

The Story of Us:

This song is about how we can still yearn after our first lover. How it can completely dictate the way we feel and experience love in the future.

The album Utopia - 2 Disc Ultimate Edition contains 30 songs on 2 Discs with many extended mix from existing songs with shorter radio edits. A first release in MP3 form only was done in December 2007, that version only containing Disc 1 of this 2-Disc compilation on physical CDs. Utopia represents years of work and is actually a soundtrack to 2 movies directed by and starring Breck Stewart. The second album is already in production and called Mister E, 4 songs of which are featured on one of the 2 movies.
