Album Notes
Brian Shiva Haley is a singer-songwriter-musician based in Vancouver Canada. Spandaloka is his incredible band of rotating musicians. Music has been an integral part of, and a primary inspiration throughout, his life. He has been influenced by many different genres of music including, but not limited to the following: roots, blues, folk-rock, country-rock, jazz, R&B, world-beat, and others. Artistic influences include: Neil Young, Tom Waits, JJ Cale, T-Bone Burnett, Daniel Lanois, Leonard Cohen, and many more. The main influence, however, has been the ever constant ebb and flow of life itself.

The songs on this album are a reflection of the journey through life, love, and the great mystery of it all. The two years leading up to the release of this album were a significant period of reflection and transition. These songs are an expression of this journey. As with all journeys, there are the inevitable ups and downs, but overall life moves on and flows like a river. This album is about recognizing that flow, being in the flow, and ultimately, ‘grokkin’ the river’.

every breath is beautiful
'every breath' is a such a striking song!
the slow steady flow of its 'breathy' rhythm and lyrics give the sense of being fluid, in an ocean of surrender and love...the deep sense of a movement of yearning within the heart, to truly 'let go'...this indeed is a stunning, living poem of a song.

Hit Single; Shining Thru!!!!!!! hands down
Loved this album. My favorite song is Shining Thru, hands down, love the energy and the message! Great lyrics, and the eclectic mix of my favorite type of music roots and blues, with some folk/rock makes an all around great album.
