ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Bright Echo's debut release consists of two songs, Eliza Howell and So Long. The title track, Eliza Howell, gets its name from a northwest Detroit park that Bright Echo's singer/guitarist, Keith Woods, grew up near. For kids raised on grunge music, inspiration sounds like it comes from an earlier era judging from these two tracks. Think '60s Beach Boys with a hint of darkness on Eliza Howell. So Long, a slightly somber good-bye to a past friend perhaps, also has an old school feel with some trumpets at the end that really brings the song together into a triumphant climax.
