British Dependency takes their musical roots and holds them close when they are composing . All of the sounds, feelings, and experiences of life show up in their arrangements along with their reggae roots and a well-placed soca beat every now and then. Ruel Richardson. Dancing guitar and the uniquely sweet voice. Ruel was born in St. Kitts and raised in Anguilla. He is a musical artist and may as well have been born with a guitar in his hands. He is one of the special breed of musicians who sings while he creates moving sounds on his instrument. People long for his unique sound after they hear it the first time. Joyah . Dubbdbee rootroot deduub. People are calling Joyah "the first lady of the bass". Born and raised in Anguilla, the bass called out to her in the music she grew up listening to. Now she is perhaps the first native female to make it to a stage with her groovy sounds and funky moves. She brings style, beauty, and she knows where the "1" is – she's got it. The Root.

Jaiden Fleming. Di yout on drums. Phenom Jaiden was also born and raised in Anguilla. His talent for picking up music and leading it from his drum chair is inspirational. He creates his sound while, as stated by a fan, maintaining a perfectly relaxed and beautiful stature. He's good for the eyes and the ears. The heartbeat of British Dependency. .
