Album Notes

Bruce Gibson is a singer-songwriter in the contemporary folk style but with rock sensibility. His music and performances are personal and relevant and deliver a blend of lyric and rhythm that is both toe-tapping and thought provoking. Bruce steps up as the everyman—touching on the day-to-day struggle for balance between life’s grind and joys and family and dreams and love and hopes and a connection with your own personal god.

Listener comments include: "a definite knack for songwriting," "meaningful, personal," "sincere and important," "feels in the vein of John Denver inspiration," and "getting a Badly Drawn Boy vibe."

Bruce lives in Woodstock, Georgia (just north of Atlanta) with his wife and boys and dog and cats. You can find him in Atlanta venues playing his Taylor several nights a week. In April 2009, Bruce traveled 1,610 miles from Atlanta, Georgia, to Bozeman, Montana, to work with Producer Chris Cunningham at his BaseCamp Recording Studio. Chris Cunningham is also known as a solo artist and as half the duo Storyhill (Red House Records). Chris gathered regional artists for the studio band and featured accompaniment.
