What can you say about the South when it comes to hip hop music? Creative, energetic, Krunk. The South has taken on its own identity where at one time New York was the mecca and every artist wanted to mimic styles like KRS-One or NAS, Jay Z or Biggy. The south has it's own swagger, lingo, and style. With high profile artist and simple but clever hooks and punch lines and the very predictable High hat, kick, clap, and synth sound; it becomes easy for our youth to give in to an artist without realizing what's being said or what stand is being taken about the subject of that song.

It seems lyrically the south has become relaxed when it comes to lyrical content. The subject matter becomes the same be it sexual or drug related. I don't see God being mad at how much Gold you got or your bling. But it's becoming a god. Hungry people will eat what ever you feed them. My conscience belief is that people in general are hungry for something.
The gospel is the good news of Christ. Soul Food. You eat good, you feel good. You eat healthy, you become healthy. You eat spirituality, you began to live and incorporate Godly values and principals.

The album Southern Gospel was comprised and written with this thought in mind:
If you feed them, they will come. If they come, they will listen, If they listen, they will remain. And if they remain, they will become effective. If they are effective, they will bring and feed others.
