Album Notes

The Cha Cha Guerillas are Guitarist and Vocalist Ralph on Fyre and Drummer Bloody Chris, with changing Organists accompaniment, founded in 2000.
The Name is program because they trample in boorish Manner through the musical inheritance from 60s garage, punk, pop and blues which is not yet completely begun to decay.
The Cha Cha Guerrillas seeking their way with much pop appeal and wealth of melody, but can not leave yet, stumbling back and forth through the harmonies and torture one or another song with joyful satisfaction to death.
The Sound is minimal, directly and completely retro.
Lyrics and Statements wallow in ludicrous irony, shameless lies, and deceitful Sentimentality
After two analog recorded Demo CDs and after Guest appearances throughout Germany including the Reverend Beatman (CH), Royal Beat Conspiracy (S), Leopold Kraus Wellenkapelle (D), Green Hornet (NL), Andre Wiliams (USA), and the last appearance in December 2003 in London the Band took a 3 Year Break.
Since late 2006 the Band is presented in it’s original Form as a Duo with the Exception of the Bare – Bones Instrumentation. Their Goal : The perfect Imperfection.
Equipped only with a 1 "analog Tape Machine They attacked the next Record at the End of 2008.
With Ringo Royal was the only person found who is eligible to develop the technology and to engage as devotedly as the Musicians on a recording Project that will last for eight Months at the End.
In December 2009 followed the publication of RHR Records, a young local Label that shares his Enthusiasm and his dedication to Music with the Cha Cha Guerrillas.
The new CD – Found their Peace in Virgin Mary - with 11 tracks on it, is the first official Long-Player of the band and brings in addition to the usual Indie -60s garage-rock Stompers, this Time some longer, some psychedelic Songs with "Hippie Flair”, like the former Punk Rockers say with the blink of an Eye
