With Voices of the Ancients, Chad Kettering immerses himself into the history and culture of the ancient civilizations who inhabited the North American desert southwest. The ancient people of this mysterious land embraced a unique connection between life and survival within the harsh desert landscape and the powerful metaphysical forces that emanated behind the world of form.

Electronic/Tribal
Great cd to chill out to or driving music. Lots of synths, nice drumming, flute, Native American Indian chanting. Im spinning this cd on continuous mode, its that good. Both of Chads cds are definite must haves. Nice creativity/sculpting. Hints of Steve Roach in the tribal mode.

Chad Kettering strikes back!!!
After very strong debut release "Into The Infinite" from 2008, I was expecting very anxiously the second full-length of this, Texas based, musician (former professional trumpet player). The album opens perfectly with two amazing tracks, "The Mesa" and "Earth Beat". Adventurous cinematic ethno-tribal ambient journey at its best, on "Earth Beat" spiced with well placed female vocals and chants. All clear, Chad Kettering strikes back and keeps on going!!! Monumental and dramatic atmospheres are joined by tribal drums and colored with shamanic or female chants and various field recordings. This is absolutely beautiful and exciting walk across the Native American Indian landscape. Now it's up to you to enter and explore these distant and mystical territories. Chad Kettering definitely deserves this attention, because I think this gifted musician is still quite unknown to many fans in ambient genre. Great work and unforgettable experience, Chad!!!
