The songs on Keep Looking UP feature a mix of elements from jazz, rock, pop, orchestral and electronic music, jazz cello mixed with rock cello.

According to the composer, "This music is intended to give people a nice twist on the smooth jazz that's already out there. Cellos are more widely used now in popular music but don't usually take a lead roll. This is different. The cello replaces the lead sax or guitar." Cello Chillin differs from most jazz cello music since it's much more pop or modern sounding with full arrangements.
