Album Notes

"Hightail" is an acoustic song included in the independent film, "Til Death Do Us Toby" by Gina Daggett (Chateau Entertainment). It echoes the thoughts behind the main character & her efforts to be "free"...which can resonate with all listeners, no matter what their obstacles. The writers- Christine Havrilla, Gina Daggett, Patty McKenny (& a little help from Minxie Scott, too!) all collaborated on it via Skype & email! There was also a short filming in Portland, OR, which included a lot of "extra" help from people singing the chorus of "Hightail" & sending the music out in to the world...well, at least part of Portland at that time! You will be able to catch these clips at the end of the film! Gina Daggett writes for Curve Magazine (Lipstick & Dipstick) & is currently working on a new book as well. Christine is working with musician Jacob Shue in Portland, while touring w/ her solo work through the Fall as well. Music for a new album is being worked on for 2011!
