Album Notes

"...really a tremendous young and raw talent. She's a triple threat, solo bass guitar, piano and great songs are her weapons of choice. Add on to that her amazing voice...her voice can be anything she needs to deliver the lyrical thought, powerful, sultry, soft, sweet...an undeniable hit!" - Tom Bianchi
"Imagine a sweet voice over a funky bass line…engaging lyrics and groovy melodies…a stylish, striking young lady who has a certain mystery about her..." - Jess Phaneuf @ http://phjess.wordpress.com/
Boston-based bassist/singer/songwriter/pianist. Gigging as a bassist here, and a solo artist there, you'll find her all over the Boston/Cambridge area from open mics to headlining slots. She just finished her first CD titled 'On the Bax' to be released July 25th at the Burren. The cd will feature bass/drums/keys and multiple vocals...for your listening pleasure. A Maine native, she has been playing music since she can remember. Coming from a musical household, she started on piano at the age of 8, and bass at the age of 15, meanwhile playing in all the musical groups in school and singing alto in the choruses. She really fell in love with the bass when she joined a band with her father, James Arsenault, a keyboard player, named the Uncommon Denominators. She completed one semester in the jazz program at USM, then moved to Boston in 2008, where she began singing and writing songs. As a bassist, she's played in numerous groups, from playing in church as a teenager to playing musicals at the Arundel Playhouse to funk bands to Metallica cover bands. She presently plays with Samantha Farrell & the Love Society, Kaitlyn Dibble, Caged Birds as well as her solo project. If you're looking for some groove, some sass or just something new, be sure to check the tunes/shows out!
