Escaping the Tangle is the first full length album from electro-acoustic artist Colorpulse, the brainchild of Washington State based musician John Boswell. The album's 13 tracks mesh evocative melodies, prickly IDM beats, acoustic instrumentation, atmospheric ambiance and trance-inducing downtempo moods into a fresh and innovative sonic tapestry. Colorpulse gained wide recognition in the fall of 2009 for the viral music video "A Glorious Dawn", a strangely moving mash-up of Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking samples set to electronic music.
